Day 138 - New Clickers
Today in WHAP we took a clicker quiz.
So, we started class of by reviewing the CC video last night.
Essentially, Leopold had control until Joseph Mobuto started a coup, and took over. Mobuto was an alright leader but he practiced cronyism, where he gifted his friends cool stuff. In fact, he'd even dip into the treasury and give stuff to his cronies, so that wasn't too good, especially once he'd depleted the treasury.
Anyways, eventually Kagama took over and he basically duped the IMJ into giving them lots of money, and then he took said money for himself. That is why they are in such great debt right now of several billion.
Throughout the whole review, copper as being a great resource found in only that one area was mentioned, and Mr. Profitt was asking for examples. The only one I could think of was vibranium.
We also talked about the Rwandan genocide, and how the Rwanda Patriotic Front and the AFDL were founded as results of it.
We then took the clicker quiz. I didn't do so hot, but quite frankly I blame it on the fancy new clickers. It's like we jumped 10 years ahead in clicker quiz technology in one day. Very difficult to deal with.
With that, the bell rang and we were dismissed. Until Tomorrow!
