Day 79 - Debate

Today in WHAP we had a talk history day.

The debate started, like it usually does, with Garrett saying how he was of the mindset that the conquered people all faced the same concept of empire, whereas Will Nickols disagreed with him. They had a nice argument, each presenting large amounts of evidence (on Garret’s blog probably, he took notes). Eventually, I’m a rare occurrence, the class came in agreement in the debate and thus, to all of our relief, ended the debate peacefully.

After the debate ended, we began to study for the quiz on Friday. Pretty one dimensional class today so not much for a blog entry. Remember to study for the quiz on Friday, because we WILL be having school tomorrow, much to everyone’s chagrin.

Anyway, with that the bell rang and we were dismissed. Until tomorrow!

Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 Today in WHAP, we discussed resources for studying and started talking about periodization.           Today, we started class off by addressing some of the resources we have at our disposal, first in our textbook and then other sources such as the Princeton Review and my personal favorite; Google. What I realized about the textbook today was that it's packed full of helpful resources such as important questions outside the margins, which are then answered in the text, and chapter overviews along with AP questions to help prepare for the big test later in the year. Day 33 - Profitt MIA

Today in WHAP we did a group activity as a table team. First, Mr. Profitt wasn't here for class today for "Kairos" (probably cutting class to play Civ 6), so we had Mr. Donahue for our sub. Once class started, we promptly got to work on our assignment so that we could finish by the end of the period, since we only had class time to work on it. One member of our group, Guy, actually did one of his responses beforehand  so that he would have all of class to work on just one other response and not be rushed, along with being able to assist the rest of us. We ended up finishing right as the bell rang, with Mr. John Holloran being the last to submit as he couldn't figure out how to type his answers onto the google dock, as the keyboard was getting in the way. Day 146 - Mega Super Omega Giant Clicker Activity

Today in WHAP we reviewed for the AP exam. We practiced today by using the clicker quiz technology to practice some MC questions for the exam. I did... amazing. Like if that mirrors the AP exam in difficulty I'm finna ace it. That was all we did today, but if you need to review concepts, perhaps concept 3.2, you should check out this neat video online .
