Day 43 - Reading Quiz

Today in WHAP we took our Chapter 7 reading quiz.

First, we started class off a bit differently today then we normally do. First, we used the questions that we spawned yesterday in that Mr. Profitt went around and found the ones he saw recurring and then answered them.

After he answered a few questions, he opened the floor up for some questions from the audience, and we fired a few "How would you do a HTS on..." at him. He then said he would do one more questions from anyone, waited about five seconds, and then moved on to hand out the quiz. For the record, I almost raised my hand to ask about what ended up being our given HTS during that time, but Mr. Profitt moved a little bit too fast for me to ask.

After we took the quiz we went over the multiple choice questions in the waning minutes of class, and if you were in class today you know I got one wrong for sure :/

HW for this weekend is reading Strayer and finishing up/starting test corrections.

With that, the bell rang and we were dismissed. Until Monday!

Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 Today in WHAP, we discussed resources for studying and started talking about periodization.           Today, we started class off by addressing some of the resources we have at our disposal, first in our textbook and then other sources such as the Princeton Review and my personal favorite; Google. What I realized about the textbook today was that it's packed full of helpful resources such as important questions outside the margins, which are then answered in the text, and chapter overviews along with AP questions to help prepare for the big test later in the year. Day 33 - Profitt MIA

Today in WHAP we did a group activity as a table team. First, Mr. Profitt wasn't here for class today for "Kairos" (probably cutting class to play Civ 6), so we had Mr. Donahue for our sub. Once class started, we promptly got to work on our assignment so that we could finish by the end of the period, since we only had class time to work on it. One member of our group, Guy, actually did one of his responses beforehand  so that he would have all of class to work on just one other response and not be rushed, along with being able to assist the rest of us. We ended up finishing right as the bell rang, with Mr. John Holloran being the last to submit as he couldn't figure out how to type his answers onto the google dock, as the keyboard was getting in the way. Day 146 - Mega Super Omega Giant Clicker Activity

Today in WHAP we reviewed for the AP exam. We practiced today by using the clicker quiz technology to practice some MC questions for the exam. I did... amazing. Like if that mirrors the AP exam in difficulty I'm finna ace it. That was all we did today, but if you need to review concepts, perhaps concept 3.2, you should check out this neat video online .
