Day 146 - Mega Super Omega Giant Clicker Activity

Today in WHAP we reviewed for the AP exam.

We practiced today by using the clicker quiz technology to practice some MC questions for the exam. I did... amazing. Like if that mirrors the AP exam in difficulty I'm finna ace it.

That was all we did today, but if you need to review concepts, perhaps concept 3.2, you should check out this neat video online. It's really good and you will understand everything better. It can be found right here. Or here. Maybe here. You should click on it.

Also, to the one person that disliked the video... say it to my face, don't hide behind the anonymity of a thumbs down button.

    I heard Mr. Profitt talking to some other WHAP students in my class and I'm pretty sure he was the one who disliked it. Not sure tho.

    Did you even put effort into this? This blog is unacceptably sub par. A good blog example is whapreport.blogspot.com. Hopefully your video can spare your o points.

Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 Today in WHAP, we discussed resources for studying and started talking about periodization.           Today, we started class off by addressing some of the resources we have at our disposal, first in our textbook and then other sources such as the Princeton Review and my personal favorite; Google. What I realized about the textbook today was that it's packed full of helpful resources such as important questions outside the margins, which are then answered in the text, and chapter overviews along with AP questions to help prepare for the big test later in the year. After seeing the all that the AP exam entails, I'm a little anxious for that in the Spring; however I'm sure we'll all be ready for it when the time comes.           Moving on from just the textbook, we also have resources in the study guide like videos to help understand the chapters and very detailed chapter outlines so that we can get a general knowledge of the material

Day 81 - Class of 2020 Profits as Mr. Profitt Returns

Today in WHAP we took a clicker quiz. So first, class started off with Mr. Profitt graciously congratulating himself on his triumphant return to room A120, and finally winning his battle with the flue. He still had some battle scars, as one of his eyes had a popped blood vessel, making his eye look a little...demonic. Seems like most of the students have healed back up by now, so I don't foresee the school closing for more sick days anytime soon. After welcoming back Mr. Profitt, we began studying for the clicker quiz. We then took the quiz, and while I hate to be a downer, there is no way that we got the bonus today, just too many questions with multiple wrong answers. But, I'd love to be surprised. After the quiz, we started a lecture on the Early modern world's economy. One of the first things we went over is how most cities have negative impacts in a fiscal sense because they don't really give out much, but take a lot in taxes and other fees. A real world exam
